Rooted in collaboration,
Designed for connection

Custom homes, remodels and ADUs across Southern California. Designed with you, from the first ideas through construction.

Our services

From your first ideas to the final details, we guide the design, permitting and construction process.

Our multidisciplinary design team transforms your initial ideas into striking schematic blueprints that celebrate both form and function. We provide a curated suite of layout options designed to elevate the organic beauty of your daily life and maximize your site’s geographical potential. Every custom package balances aesthetic inspiration with economic foresight, complete with three immersive 3D renderings so you can visualize the effortless flow, natural light, and long-term value of your future home.
Following the schematic phase, we transition your selected layout into Design Development. Here, we meticulously refine the details, select materials, and integrate structural systems to balance aesthetic beauty with climate resilience. This critical phase bridges creative storytelling with technical reality, ensuring your home’s interior and exterior flow seamlessly while continuously optimizing its long-term asset value.
Our team handles the entire technical process, including precise permit drawings and city submittals. We navigate the complex local building codes and zoning laws across Southern California municipal departments so you do not have to worry about the paperwork.
We translate approved concepts into comprehensive, highly technical construction documents engineered for precise bidding and structural accuracy. Once breaking ground, we step onto the job site as your dedicated advocate. Our team collaborates directly with your general contractor to clarify design intent, review shop drawings, and resolve unforeseen field conditions. By catching errors before they are built, we ensure structural integrity, prevent costly change orders, and keep your timeline on track.

Serving Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Pacific Palisades, San Diego and Coronado Island.

Bringing Your Vision to Life in Its True Setting

At Design Social Architecture, we blend our precise digital home designs into actual photos and geographic data of your unique site. "Design Social’s quality of work and professionalism has been unmatched. We appreciate the quick responses and open channels of communication during the lengthy process of building our dream home. We also appreciate the amount of consideration into being as cost effective as possible given the size of our remodel, going the extra mile to ensure we can complete the project."

"I have worked with several architects and have never enjoyed the process as much as I did with Design Social. The communication and response time was unmatched, and they made us feel like I was a part of the design team. Meetings where we collaborated on the design using 3d models made the product we were receiving so clear and concise. I will be working with Design Social in the future!"
